emergency guardianship
This service includes direct supervision by Sarah Goslett, who will ensure the well-being of the student during their stay. This service only includes emergency assistance but students can stay at Sarah’s house in an emergency.
This option is perfect for those parents who are planning to be present during all their children’s holidays including exeats and half terms. In these cases, children will travel home for exeats and half terms or their parents will travel to the UK.
The function and responsibilities of the emergency guardian are as follows:
- Legal guardian
- Available 24/7
- Organise flights
- Assist with the purchase of the uniform.
- Available to resolve any issues that arise during their stay.
Sarah Goslett, who is based in London, will be the umbrella guardian for all our students who attend boarding schools in UK.
We offer two guardianship options in UK.
full guardianship
For parents who prefer that their children do not travel back home for exeats we offer a full guardianship package. The umbrella guardian, Sarah Goslett, will appoint a local host family that provides weekend accommodation and entertainment, and welcomes the student into the home as a member of the family. This does give students another insight into the culture of the country and the opportunity to practice their English.
The student will have the opportunity to meet their host family, via Skype, before leaving for the UK.
The function and responsibilities of the full guardian are as follows:
- Legal guardian
- Available 24/7
- Organise flights
- Coordinate with the school regarding airport transfers etc.
- Assist with the purchase of the uniform.
- Available to resolve any issues that arise during their stay.
- Appoint a host family who lives close to the school and will look after the student during exeats and half term.
- The host family will receive the students and their families upon their arrival.
- The host family will attend to the needs of the student during the school year for example the purchase of any additional uniform, clothing or school materials.
- The host family will provide accommodation, full board and entertainment during exeats and half term.
